What to notice
Later Neolithic settlement near Şanlıurfa and the Harran Plain edge. Architecture is more domestic and craft-oriented than monumental. Reported areas include houses, hearths, middens, firing pits, and ateliers. Human and animal figurines are important, but must be separated from faunal remains. Food and animal evidence includes sheep/goat, pig, cattle, gazelle, fox, deer, and fallow deer in current notes.
