The newsletter
If you enter your email address in the newsletter form, it goes to Buttondown, the service that sends the newsletter, and is stored there. We use it to send occasional emails about new discoveries at these sites. Nothing else.
We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
To be removed immediately, email info@thecommunitygarden.org and we will do it by hand.
Tour enquiries and payment
If you send a tour enquiry, we keep what you wrote in order to reply to it and arrange the trip. We do not add enquiry addresses to the newsletter.
If you go on to book, payment is handled by Stripe via a secure link we email you. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us — we do not see, handle or store a card number, and we will never ask for one by email, WhatsApp or phone. Stripe holds that data under its own privacy policy.
We keep the record of what you booked and paid, because we are required to for accounting.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and carries no advertising. There is no third-party tracking, no retargeting pixel, and no cookie wall — which is why you have never seen a consent banner here.
Our host keeps standard server logs, as every web server does.
